A gifted mage hailed as a genius by some. She infiltrated Castlevania and fought alongside Jonathan Morris as his counsel. Charlotte has mastered a special art: by binding monster energy to her book, she can wield it in the form of Spells.
Charlotte's Mastery system works differently than Shanoa and Jonathan's respective systems. Charlotte gains Mastery and spell levels by reabsorbing spells she already knows. This both increases the power of the spell, and increases her basic attack's strength.

Bound Spells

Charlotte has a mix of new and old spells available to her. Heal, Raging Fire, Ice Fang, Ice Needle, Nightmare, Acidic Bubbles, and Summon Skeleton make a return from Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Her Thunderbolt spell is actually the Lightning Bolt spell from Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, rather than her Thunderbolt spell from Portrait of Ruin. Her Piercing Beam spell has also been changed from an unlimited beam of light to become the same limited version used by the Nova Skeleton.

Dual CrushesEdit
Charlotte's main Dual Crush is Phlegeton, which she performs with anyone except for Jonathan when she initiates. She and Jonathan will always perform 1,000 Blades together, which is the only way to perform this spell. Charlotte's Cocytus spell from Portrait of Ruin is now Shanoa's signature Dual Crush in this game. Charlotte can still perform it with Shanoa, however. When Yoko is initiating, they will perform Thor's Hammer dual crush.
