Soma Cruz, Julius Belmont, and Genya Arikado had suddenly went back in time, to the SotN timeline, and is trying to find a way back home. While the three are trying to find a way back home, Alucard is just behind the three, and finding out of what is going on, as he haven't caught up with the three just yet.
