The Brisingamen (whose name means "flame jewelry") is a Necklace (in the North American region, it is called Nauglamir in Symphony of the Night and the Flame Necklace in Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow) that has different effects in different games, but usually emphasizes magical abilities and occasionally the Fire element. It is the necklace of the Norse goddess Freyja.
In Dawn of Sorrow, it increases Intelligence by +5 and Defense by +2 (the Skull Necklace has the statistics swapped and still has -1 LCK). It is inferior to the Rosary in Dawn of Sorrow (+10 LCK, +3 DEF).
In Harmony of Despair, it is the only game that actually gives it a Fire related ability (+20 resistance to Fire). It also increases HP and MP by 5 and DEF by 2.
