Boomerang
This page is about traditional boomerang, for the cross-shaped item which behaves like a boomerang, see Cross Boomerang.
Added by Reinhart77The item first was introduced in the 1988 arcade game Haunted Castle, where it only flew forwards a limited distance and did not return. It later appears in the 1994 Sega Mega Drive game Castlevania: Bloodlines as a weapon that returns back in an arc after being thrown. This type of boomerang returned in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.
A flaming version of the boomerang called the Fire Boomerang also exists in some games.
