Zombie soldiers wielding bladed weapons. These are soldiers who had been sent on missions into Dracula's Castle in a previous era, but were killed and turned zombies.

Castlevania: Symphony of the NightEdit

The zombie soldier in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (called a Bloody Zombie) still has fresh blood in it which Alucard can use his blood healing abilities on, which he is unable to do with normal Zombies. These zombies stand around or move slowly towards Alucard and swing their Basilards overhead.

Castlevania: Aria of SorrowEdit

There are two tiers of zombie soldiers in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. The regular Zombie Soldier which carry combat knives and the more advanced Zombie Officer, which carries a much longer swords. Both weapons are thrust forwards.

The Zombie Soldier's soul gives Soma the ability to throw grenades. The game implies that the Zombie Officer's Soul causes hp to be restored if you take damage while jumping. However, this is a typo. It means to say you can recover your position by hitting jump when you take damage in air. You still take damage, but you don't fly back if you hit the jump button.
