Aquamarine is a jewel found in the Castlevania, and it has been associated with water.

It's first appearance was in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night as a "Fairly Valuable Ring". It could be sold to the Master Librarian for 800 Gold, which is the second least valuable jeweled ring, more valuable than a Zircon (150 G) and less valuable than Turquoise (1500 G). About a quarter of the jewels dropped by the Jewel Sword are Aquamarines.

It later appeared in Castlevania: Curse of Darkness as a base material from which to make water-based equipment. It is needed to create a Deck Brush, Trident, and the Frog Mouth Helm.
