The Alucart Sword is a cheap replica of the original Alucard Sword. It looks exactly like the Alucard's family heirloom, but it has none of the original's strength and abilities. Equipping with the other replicas of Alucard's family heirlooms, the Alucart Shield and Alucart Mail, gives a special bonus.

Appearance in Symphony of the Night Edit

After you obtain the Leap Stone, head for the giant clock room in the Marble Gallery, use a Stopwatch to stop time and enter a room that becomes accessible. Finding the Alucart Sword, which look just like the Alucard Sword, is likely to be a disappointment when you are really hoping to find the sword that Death stole. This sword is extremely weak, although it is also very fast. It does not have the Alucard Sword's special teleport attack move. However, when you also equip the Alucart Shield and Alucart Mail (which are also worthless on their own), you do gain a high luck bonus with "Alucart Status" which may make finding rare drop items easier. Compared to other handicapping swords such as the Red Rust, Tyrfing or the simple Short Sword late in the game, this sword's speed, length, and reliability makes it great even without using Alucart Status. The Alucart's luck bonus will also give it a higher chance of scoring a Critical Hit.
