The item feature two parts: a promo CD and a comic.

The music is composed by Michiru Yamane and is exactly the same as in the Castlevania: Curse of Darkness Original Soundtrack, except for track 4, which is an arranged medley of the music of Zead's events ("Devil Forging" and "Confrontation -the Second-") with an exclusive theme that doesn't appears in the game or in the soundtrack.

The booklet feature a comic. The story and artwork was by Ayami Kojima, it indeed functions as a prelude or an overture to the story of Curse of Darkness, telling the tale of Hector's betrayal of Dracula and his love for Rosalee, Isaac's descent into madness, and Trevor Belmont's growing concern that Dracula is not as dead as he seems.
This introductory story presents a different scenario than does the TokyoPop-translated Castlevania: Curse of Darkness Manga.
